How we got here

One operating model since day one. Build it once. Ship it everywhere. Stay on the account.

ASMUTEK was started in 2012 by a group of engineers who had previously built and operated back-office systems for hospital networks, retail banks and university groups. We had watched too many strong specifications die inside eighteen-month implementation cycles, and too many good builds get replaced by templated software because the team that wrote the original had rotated out before the second renewal.

The thesis we started with has not changed. Ship one product to many customers on a single codebase. Keep the same named delivery lead on the account from scoping through the second operating cycle. Run the same diligence whether the customer is a 600-pupil school in Kerala or a 1,200-bed hospital group in the Gulf. Build for the renewal, not the sale.

Twelve years on, ASMUTEK is a 65-strong software and engineering firm operating out of San Francisco, Dubai and Noida. Our four products are deployed inside 490 customer environments across 20 countries. Our digital growth arm, ASMUTEK Digital, runs the search, paid and content engineering for a hundred and eighty enterprise brands.

The firm is still privately held by the engineers who founded it. We still ship a single codebase per product. The same delivery lead still owns the account through the first two operating cycles. We have refused acquisition offers twice. Both for the same reason.

Operating principles

Four positions we take in every contract.

Not values painted on a wall. Operating positions we use to qualify deals, architect systems, hire the bench and decide what enters the next release train.

The build team is the run team. The engineers who scope the work own the deployment, the hyper-care period and the first two operating cycles in production. No mid-programme handover to a partner shop.

Customer-owned code paths and data. Customers receive read access to source, the runbooks and the deployment topology on signature. No proprietary opacity. Every system we ship is engineered to pass an independent architecture and security review.

We engineer for the renewal. We decline contracts we cannot support cleanly into the second operating cycle. Every commercial we sign carries a renewal clause we believe will be exercised. That is what the team is measured on.

Diligence before novelty. The platforms we ship use components our customers' security teams already approve and their hiring market already supplies. New components earn their place after a production trial inside ASMUTEK, never inside the customer's estate first.

How we deliver

Three phases. Same delivery lead through all three.

Whatever the sector, every ASMUTEK engagement runs on the same Build / Run / Renew arc, owned end to end by a single named lead with a delivery cell of senior engineers, architects and domain analysts.

Build

Discovery, target architecture and a working pilot inside a single department or workflow. We earn the rollout by delivering production-quality at the first checkpoint, not at the last.

Weeks 1 to 12

Run

Phased cutover, full-estate observability and 24x7 incident response against a contracted SLO. The build engineers stay on the account through go-live, hyper-care and the first two operating cycles.

Months 3 to 18

Renew

Quarterly platform reviews, roadmap alignment and a non-disruptive upgrade path. By the second renewal the system runs faster, costs less to operate and carries fewer bespoke patches than the day it went live.
